For almost 30 years the software VETERA.net has been used successfully in the veterinary medical administration. The latest innovation of the software is the legally secure signature of PDF documents directly from the customer or patient file - a novelty for practice management systems in veterinary medicine.
Each type of form for customer and patient printing as well as individual text templates can be sent to the VETERA.net signature pad for digital signature with just one click. The signer sees the complete document and can easily scroll up and down all pages of the document with the pen. Here, the signer sees exactly what he signs. Following this process, the signed document will again be transferred directly to the correspondence of VETERA.net - fully automatic, with category if desired. There, the document is stored forgery-proof in the VETERA.net database and can be retrieved and printed at any time in the original.
Having been introduced only in September 2018, the solution is already a complete success after only three months and is now being used in many veterinary practices and clinics in German-speaking Europe.
Dr. med. vet. Nico Wohllebe from GP.Software GmbH explains: "The feedback received from the veterinary practices and clinics has been consistently positive. For our users, the "paper tiger", which has been overpowering since the DSGVO, has lost its fright. "
Technically, behind the VETERA.net signature pad lies the signature pad signotec Delta, which with its 25.5 cm (10.1 ") color display can be perfectly used for applications where complete documents must be read. The pad is connected to the VETERA.net software via the powerful signoAPI programming interface for the ISO-compliant signature of PDF documents. Customers receive from VETERA a comfortable set-up instruction, with which they can put the signature pad directly after delivery into operation with little effort.
