The Luzerner Kantonalbank AG (LUKB) employs around 1,000 people in 26 branches. Its core business areas include real estate and corporate finance, provision, as well as asset management and administration.
The bank, founded in 1850, combines tradition and modernity: Since 2017, it has been focusing on digital processes and efficient electronic signature work with signature solutions from signotec.
Meanwhile, the signature pad signotec Gamma and the software signoSign/2 are being used in the customer halls in 26 branches. The robust signotec Gamma is ideally suited for a precise capture of the signature at the paperless point of sale. It impresses with its excellent design and outstanding feel.
The process is as follows: The business transactions in the Avaloq core banking system, such as deposits or withdrawals, transfers or change transactions, are converted into a PDF via the printing process. Subsequently, the documents are displayed on the consultant's PC in the signoSign/2 application and signed with the signature pad. The documents signed in this way are automatically transferred to the archive and are available to the entire institute within a few minutes.
As a result of this procedure, the Luzerner Kantonalbank saves the complete internal printouts of the transactions, because only the customer is provided with a print-out. The bank benefits from high time and material savings and at the same time consistently positive acceptance and response from its customers.
