From 8 to 11 April 2019, Fiducia & GAD, service provider for information technology within the cooperative financial group, invited its customers and partners to the annual COM in Münster. Due to the digital transformation of the financial industry, the main focus of the event was on digital banking solutions and their implementation in the agree21 banking process.
While the exhibition area presented current activities relating to the digitization offensive and new innovation approaches for tomorrow's banking, congress lectures provided impetus on strategic topics. A special highlight of the event was the lecture by philosopher and journalist Richard David Precht, who dealt with the consequences of digitization for people and technology.
signotec, a long-standing partner of Fiducia & GAD, was also represented at COM19 and, together with the organizer, presented the agree21PenPad for handwritten electronic signatures. In connection with a signature software provided to the banks, customers can thus sign electronically on the connected signature pads. In contrast to manual printing and scanning, applications, exemption orders and many other documents are recorded almost in real time and processed and archived in the administration system. The banks benefit from considerable time and material savings.
